Our Story

I am the son of a scientist. In high school I built a complete chemistry lab in our attic, and that year I scored the highest marks in chemistry in the entire country's national examination. Chemistry was my first love.

I became an engineer and spent forty years making things: steel, then clothing sold at Bloomingdale's and Macy's. And I became the father of two teenage daughters.

One day I counted the products crowding their bathroom. Two hundred. A new one arriving every week, each promising a miracle, most abandoned within a month. It pained me. Not the money, the noise. Everybody was trying; nobody was choosing.

Then I looked at the labels, and my first love looked back. Skincare is chemistry in a pretty jar. And chemistry I can read.

So I did what a scientific mind does. I read the studies. I checked the concentrations. I tested what actually works on skin I love. My daughters still buy every new thing; they are teenagers, and mistakes are how they learn. But what I learn, tested and chosen, I share with you.

Real actives. Honest concentrations. No miracles.

Chosen the way a father chooses.
